Restoration, Conservation and Monitoring of Shark and Stingray Species Habitats in Hatay Samandağ Hırlavuk Coast will be implemented by Turquoise Coast Environment Fund- Turkey. Within the scope of the project, we will carry out studies for the restoration of the habitat destruction of the Samandağ Hırlavuk coast, which is one of the breeding areas of shark and stingray species on the Red List of the World Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, and to determine the composition and monitoring of the species distributed in the region. In addition, studies will be carried out to raise awareness of fishermen and local people in the region in order to protect the stingray species and habitat in Samandağ and to ensure the continuity of this rare micro-ecosystem.
